New Site Babybreaks Launches To The Media
Family-friendly info-site BabyBreaks.com has appointed travel and lifestyle PR firm Turtle to launch the brand to the UK media and beyond.
Offering a unique ‘one stop shop’ platform concept, BabyBreaks aims to inspire families with inspiring accommodation, restaurant and activity ideas for families with babies, toddlers and small children.
Spotting a huge gap in the UK market, BabyBreaks was founded in 2018 by Guillaume Thevenot who, as a father himself, struggled to find a website that catered for young families.
The free platform covers the very best places for families to visit in the UK and Europe. Users are also able to find child-friendly hotels and holiday homes and book via different third-party booking agents. BabyBreaks will also soon launch an opt-in weekly newsletter, full of the finest UK and European leisure inspiration, exclusive offers and travel ideas for little people and their families.
Turtle will create a unique communications strategy for BabyBreaks, to raise both the brand and Thevenot’ s profiles in the travel, family and lifestyle press.
Thevenot states: “We are delighted to be working with Turtle. We plan to spread the word about BabyBreaks, as the best and only site families need for hassle-free travel ideas. Turtle immediately identified with our aims and we are excited to start engaging with press about our unique concept.”
He continues: “We are also launching BabyBreaks during and exciting growth period for the family travel market. According to ABTA statistics* young families with children under five are the segment of society who travel the most, taking on average four holidays per year. Our mission is to become the ‘go-to’ website for these some eight million UK families, to help make travel make a stress-free experience.”
Leila Stocker, Turtle PR’s Director says: “We are thrilled to start working with BabyBreaks and relish the challenge ahead, of gaining exposure for the site through the consumer media.”
Thevenot worked for nearly 20 years for several online travel companies including TripAdvisor, Booking.com and Voyage Privé, before deciding to launch his own venture, BabyBreaks. He is father to a six-year-old daughter and a 10-year old boy.
